At the end of the 2nd set of Tuesday’s volleyball game between Timpanogos and Alta in Orem, the visiting Hawks looked well on their way to a sweep of the T-Wolves in their home gym, dominating the first two sets. The home side was able to keep the match alive by taking a close third set. The T-Wolves kept fighting hard, and earned a victory in the fourth set to even the match at 2 sets apiece. In the fifth and final set, the undersized T-wolves showed oversized heart and completed the comeback to take the final set 15-11 to bring home their second home win in as many matches. Administrator Chas DeWitt said “Holy cow, great showing by our Timberwolves! They fought so hard and earned that win! What a great day to be a T-wolf!”
The T-Wolves look to extend their home winning streak to 3 as they open Region 8 play against the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles Thursday night at 7:00 at the Home of the Timberwolves.
